For those of us who have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl, we can tell you first hand, that shopping for baby girls clothes can be tedious, time consuming and expensive. You might think it an easy task, just find anything pink right? Well, in the world that actually exists, that is not as easy as it sounds. Searching for clothes for your baby girl can be a wonderful experience as long as you have researched and gotten prepared in advance. Babies grow fast; the average baby is out of her 6-9 month clothes long before she reaches the 9 month mark. The ideal way to shop for babies with parents on a budget is searching for sales and possibly second hand stores. Before you shop you should also consider what types of clothes your baby will need. Will she need cool clothes for the summer or warm clothes for the winter? When your child is done with all of her essential, then what?

One piece of clothing that you should always keep an overabundance of, would be onesies. Onesies are a baby body suit that buttons up just under their rump. You can find these either sold in packages of 5-6 or sold individually. The ones that you purchase in a package of 5-6 are usually generic in nature and design but serve their purpose. The ones sold individually have a more pronounced personality. You can purchase one’s that have the most adorable funny sayings or pictures, and these will surely get your child noticed. The difference aside from appearances of these two different types of onesies is the cost. You can spend less on you onesies if you go with the value pack or spend more for the individually sold ones. They are typically used for summer months as an outfit by itself; you can add shorts or pants to them as well. In the winter you will use onesies as a layer to help keep your baby warm. In the winter buying the generic multipack  is the smartest course of action because nobody will actually see it, as it will be underneath other layers of your baby girls clothing.

Okay so now your baby girl has outgrown these items that you so meticulously researched and purchased at various stores. You bought them on sale or second hand, but they are still in great condition because your baby wore them only a few times before she sprouted like a green bean again. Well, now you should consider several things. Are you planning on having another baby? If so, you are going to want to hang on to those little treasures. The economy isn’t so great right now and saving money and cutting corners is essential in every household. If you are not planning to have another baby, you should consider reselling them. Used baby girls clothes are selling like hot cakes right now because of the economy. You can make a quick fortune with your baby’s old clothes.
Research all the baby girls clothes stores and find the sales before you venture off to shop. Baby clothes are expensive so sales are you best bet. Consider weather and price, and then have fun shopping for your baby! Don’t forget to consider the future!

Socks are another method of bundling. Your baby should always be wearing socks, even in the summer months, as the skin of their tiny little feet are especially susceptible to the sun. You should never spend a lot of money on socks. Socks disappear with the blink of an eye and you will spend an eternity searching for them, so buying cheaper socks will not only save you money immediately, but will also save you money after the sock thief has run away with one of the matching socks to every pair in your babies dresser.
Sleepers are a must, regardless of the season. You can purchase sleepers that are made for specific months. For the summer months you can find long sleeved sleepers that are made of very lightweight cotton. These are essential as your baby can catch a chill even in the summer months. In the winter most retail stores stock up on fleece sleepers that will keep your little love nice and warm throughout the entire winter season.
